Power of the Subconscious
The subconscious mind, on the other hand, is responsible for a whopping 95% of what we do and are. This is where the keys to transformation lie.
Operating vastly differently from our conscious mind, it autonomously regulates our bodily functions and guides us through our daily actions, like tying our shoes and riding a bike. It is a vast repository that holds the spectrum of all of our life experiences and is the lens through which we see and understand the world.
Healing Through the Subconscious Mind
Overwhelming events from our past are often at the root of many of our seemingly unsolvable issues.
It is during these events that we discard parts of ourselves into the subconscious which remain stuck at the time of the events and contain unprocessed and unresolved emotions and experiences These parts continue to relive these experience having adopted ways to exist and soothe the torment of the event.
This is why a grown person can act like a toddler to a perceived slight or a car backfiring can undo a combat victim.
I had an exceptional experience working with Kirsten. Her calm, warm, strong, and wise presence enabled me to go deep and deal with some long-standing issues from my childhood that had to do with the energy of fear. As a result of the work that I did with her, I feel more grounded, present, and embodied. I am more in my power and less affected by events and experiences that would previously bring up feelings of fear or anxiety in me. I highly recommend sessions with Kirsten.
